MENTORSHIP PROGRAM

Guidance & Support

Thousands of young adults age out of foster care without a permanent home or family support. Many of these young adults become homeless, pregnant, or even get incarcerated. For this often-forgotten group, having a mentor can make the difference between becoming a statistic or having long-term success into adulthood.

Positive Role Models

Aspire Alliance has positive role models that help foster the youth and overcome the challenges of growing out of the foster care system by providing guidance, support and advocacy in order to prepare them for life after foster care.

Volunteer Mentor Program

The young mend and women of Aspire Alliance need you! Being a mentor is a rewarding experience. There are many available mentoring opportunities in various areas of expertise. When you give your time you are making a lifetime impact helping shape someone's future.

HOW IT WORKS

Former foster care youth and homeless community youth (18-21 years) live independently in a home with roommates. They receive professional case management, weekly counseling, job and life skills, educational assistance, and resource referrals, to help them meet their goals and leave the program ready to become productive members of our community. These vulnerable young adults are given a safe place to live and are taught how to care for themselves so that they can become productive, empowered members of our community.
